Cat Catching Fireflies

Catch Catching Fireflies tells the story of a cat that followed the fireflies and went into the outside world, he is not so used to. At first everything seems so unusual and scary to him, just like any new experience we, humans, face most of the time. The fireflies later lead the cat to the realization that the world is not even as terrifying as he thought and all the monsters that he saw were created in his imagination.

The Idea

Lenin and I were still not done with Halloween and decided to create a spooky story about the cat chasing the fireflies and getting lost in the woods with spooky creatures.

How It Works

Before creating the storyboard, Lenin and I also wrote down which scenes we would like to include to understand what kind of assets we would need.

Later we divided the work between each other. Lenin would work on the monsters, fireflies and background and I would work on the cat animations.

We also decided to use the original music for the video.

We are also planning to use one of Lenin's songs as the part of storytelling.
